Born in Marquette, Michigan, in 1977 and raised in Northern Lower Michigan, I am a science-fiction and fantasy author now back in Michigan after living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Seattle, Washington. I am a proud Pagan and priestess of Odin who respects people of all walks of life. My parents, whose divorced was finalized in 1989, raised me and my younger brother as geeks. We grew up watching Star Wars, Star Trek, the Transformers, the original Battlestar Galactica, and listening to lots of music with a female black cat named Nikki. I've been writing stories since I was nine years old. I currently have no pets.
My biggest inspiration for writing and wanting to become a published author is J.R.R. Tolkien with his epic fantasy, The Lord of the Rings, which was my solace and escape in high school. Favorite authors include Stephen King and Edgar Allen Poe.
I love history, mythology, music, movies, theater, role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, comics, anime, manga, and traveling. I've been an avid reader for as long as I can remember.
I draw inspiration from David Farland, Tad Williams, Margaret Weis, the Greek and Norse histories, the music of the Bangles, and video games like Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Star Ocean. Though I walk this Earth as a mere mortal, I wander worlds filled with Gods,Elves, Dragons, and other amazing and terrifying wonders.
My current list of publications contains Portal to Gaming, The King and Queen of Wands, The Sons of Thor, and Sigyn's Flowers. Readers can find them on Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble NOOK.
